The Ops Support Specialist 4 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging, and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations – Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Support Specialist 4 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians, and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes a chat platform to respond to service inquiries from customers and provide a comprehensive resolution to the complaints/queries
    Follow-up on all customer requests via chat and email
    Maintains detailed knowledge of product and service offerings to customers
    Analyzes risk areas and identify solutions to meet customer’s needs
    Ensuring Information security for sensitive data
    Helps to teach our customers how to self-service through our internet website
    Balancing NPS and ensuring a positive customer experience while managing/minimizing operating losses
    Accurate reporting of MIS/Timekeeping
    Undertake other assignments/projects as given by the Team Lead/Manager
    Apply professional attitude and image to all internal and external customers
    Liaising with various departments and also doing account-level system maintenance while resolving customer queries/complaints
    Qualifications-External:

    Overall 0 – 3 years of relevant experience
    Sound presentation and analytical skills
    Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented

    Must possess excellent PC and keyboarding skills (30 WPM – typing speed; 90% accuracy)

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to review suspicious transactions generated by fraud detection systems, analyze such transactions and customer spend & behavior patterns and make sound judgements and decisions on the alerts in accordance with the operating guidelines and procedures to prevent and minimize fraud losses. The incumbent in this position is also expected to contact customers, validate/verify transactions in detecting fraud, handling authorization referrals and quick decision making capabilities while providing outstanding service in the process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review suspicious transactions generated by fraud detection systems, the analyst must be highly sensitive to abnormal /fraudulent transactions to minimize loss at the earliest stage and be alert to the new emerging fraud trends/patterns.
  • Responsible for making sound judgements and decisions on the alerts in accordance to the operating guidelines and procedures to prevent and minimize fraud losses.
  • Analyze alerts and investigate transactional activities to detect suspicious fraud activity to minimize fraud losses for the respective businesses and ensure that fraud loss does not exceed the plan
  • Meet expected service levels in handling inbound calls.
  • Process offline referrals and alerts from Citi phone and other operating units including authorization referrals in a timely manner.
  • Contact customers using the existing contact strategy for suspected fraud transactions to verify/validate such transactions.
  • Strive to achieve daily and monthly resolutions as per the agreed work plan.
  • Handle all assigned activities without any defects / errors.
  • Track all open cases till logical closure.
  • Meet the productivity and quality expectations for this function. 

    Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:··

  • Required UG / PG Degree with relevant work experience.

The Legal Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for Legal data and knowledge strategy, architecture, governance, and capabilities across the Global Legal department. As the data and knowledge champions for Legal, the CDO will set the direction and approach to implement effective and best-in-class data and Knowledge Management (KM) frameworks, controls and capabilities for Legal owned data and knowledge assets. As such, the Legal CDO team will be responsible for all aspects of defining and executing strategies for managing, sharing and extracting value from Legal owned Data and Knowledge assets.

Under this mandate, Global Legal Solutions is aiming to further enhance the efficacy with which the Global Legal department supports its clients and business partners by developing a formal KM competency. Within that function, the Legal CDO is hiring a KM Analyst who will be instrumental in supporting the build-out and continuous enhancement of the capabilities needed to deliver solutions that will allow Legal users across Citi to make better, faster decisions, leverage knowledge resources more efficiently, and drive outcomes that better mitigate risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Legal KM Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting execution of a robust Voice of the Customer program that will support the holistic identification of KM opportunities and inform the development of a robust KM Solutions Roadmap for Global Legal
  • Providing user support for the deployment and adoption of KM capabilities –including through the creation and delivery of relevant training content, assessing and addressing user-identified issue, etc.— to drive stronger adoption of KM tools and practices
  • Executing or supporting relevant KM content curation and enrichment activities, regardless of origin
  • Supporting the implementation of a successful KM culture across the organization, including by helping to communicate the KM Solutions Roadmap and sustaining efforts to promote the benefits from adoption of prioritized KM tools and processes
  • In collaboration with the Legal Operations & Technology team, supporting the effective deployment of KM systems and processes to ensure fitness-for-purpose for all KM solutions, including by supporting relevant discovery work, use case development efforts, detailed user requirements gathering, or toolset configuration exercises
  • Supporting the preparation of Business Intelligence reports on KM operations and solutions adoption, as needed to inform KM Steering Committee processes or provide requisite insights to Legal management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of overall business experience in a complex cross-functional organization, with strong experience with knowledge and content management –ideally relating to legal subject matter
  • JD preferred but not required; Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong technology skills, preferably including experience with legal enterprise software, tools and applications
  • Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to execute effectively within a large, global organization –preferably a financial firm
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
