Full Job Description

Responsibilities will include translation of the UX design wireframes and Graphic Design mock-ups to live code to deliver user-facing pages as part of the ALISON platform, website, and Products. You will work with the UI/UX and graphic designers on one side and back-end Developers on the other to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Role:

Develop a smooth and intuitive FE UX experience on our global platform
Work with designers and marketing team to ensure technical feasibility of concepts
Create design identity and branding, prototypes, and layout of content for web
Coordinating with programmers in implementing engaging, exciting interfaces
Driving best practice design methods that deliver an optimized user experience
Making key website changes on a regular basis
Looking at key areas to improve and optimize our website
Creating visual concepts that match our branding
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting it to the back-end
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Ensure responsive design in all deliveries

Skills/Requirements:

Very strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and graphic optimisation skills
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Angular
Experience designing/developing mobile
Experience with online advertising
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a distinct advantage
Understanding of SEO practices, coding techniques, and trends
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Experience using versioning tools, particularly GIT
Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline

About the

We are looking for an Experienced Full Stack Engineer to help innovate, design, create and deliver next-generation solutions across a range of innovative projects, prototypes, and proofs of concept.

 

This will involve bringing your skills to bear across the full development stack including Front End (UI), Back End (service and data), and Cloud (services and infrastructure). This will mean:
